Product Description
We transform theory to reality. Ideally, a single speaker driver reproducing the entire audio range (commonly considered to be 20 Hz to 20 kHz, but N2 extends the limited to > 25Khz), and there is no crossover needed, no integration issues between two or more separate drivers, and no time alignment, phase or polarity errors. The output of the amplifier is connected directly to the driver, and the results would be extraordinary clarity and minimal distortion induced in crossover.
Sound comes from an ideal single point, no crossover and a optimized curved-shaped cabinet, miniwatt N3 bring a monitor grade speaker to you. It delivers a high resolution, relatively high efficiency, very low distortion speaker system.
A direct and optimizing cabinet design, hand-crafted and construction materials (10-layer piano finish) and 100mm Multiform Cones Fullrange Driver, miniwatt N3 delivers a level of musical purity, rich sonic textures, tonal balance and open soundstaging.
Uniqueness:
no crossover
no integration issues between two or more separate drivers
no time alignment, phase or polarity errors
optimized curved-shaped cabinet to reduce resonance
Regarding break-in: miniwatt N2 sounded coarse for the first 15 hours, improving steadily until they had accumulated about 50 hours. An extended break-in is mandatory for good results, at least 150 hours is highly recommended. After 100 hours the drivers lose an edge to the sound in the upper midrange. Improved high frequency resolution and extension is also apparent. Approaching 200 hours, the sound will become stabilized.
